BEST PRACTICES

Don't allow your dirty water bucket to overflow!

One common mistake people make when using their machines is allowing the dirty water bucket to overflow. When refilling the clean water, don't forget to empty the dirty water bucket. If the water is allowed to overflow it can be sucked into the vacuum motor via the air filter which can cause great damage to the machine.

Do not use hot water!

Do NOT use very hot or boiling water. Doing so can cause lasting damage to the machine, including melting the water hose and housing. Use cold to lukewarm water to ensure there is no issue.

Do not use detergent into the machine!

We recommend not putting detergent into the machine. No defoamer is needed. Use a mixture of water and detergent in a spray bottle, spray the area that needs to be cleaned. Leave the water and detergent mixture to sit on the carpet/upholstery for 1-2 minutes. Agitate the mixture with a hand brush or round drill bit brush. Using the extractor, spray water and then extract.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Reconnecting the male connector to the water hose

If the male quick connector loosens from the water hose, you can reconnect it with a simple fix. Please watch our short video on how to do so.

Reattaching the upholstery head

To fix leaking upholstery and floor heads, first ensure that the upholstery nozzle is fitted to the trigger mechanism correctly. Please take a look at this video on how to reattach the upholstery head.
